  • Press the same shortcut again to switch to the windows you want to open from the Aero preview. If you want to do the switching in reverse, press “Windows + Shift + 1”.

    • Open the download .exe file.
  • Select the option “Automatically Start Easy Windows Switcher” in the next step. It will add the app to be started during every startup.
  • That’s it. Just press “Alt + `” on your keyboard to switch between windows of the same app. It’s latter key of the shortcut is also called “Backtick”, it is the key before the number “1” on the US Keyboard layout.

Pros of this method: Very useful utility. Lightweight. Suffices the basic function.

Cons: An extra program/task for your OS to handle. Doesn’t allow switching between multiple instances of the same app.
